What does apparently mean?

You use apparently to refer to something that seems to be true, although you are not sure whether it is or not. The recent deterioration has been caused by an apparently endless recession. Collins COBUILD Advanced Learner’s Dictionary. Copyright © HarperCollins Publishers

Is well an adverb?

Well and good have a similar meaning, but good is not used as an adverb. It is used as an adjective. She sings very well. She is a very good singer. We use well as an adjective, normally after a linking verb such as be, look or get, to mean ‘in good health’: How are you? I’m very well, thanks. And you? Are you feeling OK? You don’t look very well.

What does the adjective apparent mean?

The adjective apparent can indicate either possibility, as in The effects of the drought are apparent to anyone who sees the parched fields (that is, how they appear is how they are) and His virtues are only apparent (that is, how they appear is not how they are).

What does evidently mean?

Lastly, Evidently can mean the same as obviously, but it holds a connotation (to me, anyway) of being more evidence-based, and not necessarily completely obvious. It also means "It would seem that" and seems the likely usage here. Evidently, your son is not as responsible as you thought.
